🧭 Use Applications

The MWF Vigor is built for long-range directional detection across expansive areas. It’s a serious tool for professional search teams, surveyors, and landowners looking to locate buried targets that standard handheld systems would miss. With its extended reach and directional lock capability, the Vigor is ideal for covering wide, open terrain with minimal effort.

Gold & Precious Metal Prospecting: Isolate natural gold deposits, treasure caches, or buried hoards from long distance. The Vigor’s Smart Detection system helps filter soil clutter to focus on target type and direction.

Landowner & Remote Property Search: Survey rural or undeveloped land for underground metallic anomalies before excavation. Easily scans open acreage with minimal footwork.

Cave & Tunnel Detection: Detect voids, underground passageways, or collapsed cavities in areas where visual cues are unreliable or inaccessible.

Relic Recovery & Historical Exploration: Use the Vigor to identify deep targets from multiple directions and triangulate old weapon caches, archaeological artifacts, or buried containers at significant depth.

Mountainous & Slope Terrain Scanning: Ideal for difficult terrain where handheld sweeping is impractical. The Vigor provides direction and distance without requiring full ground coverage.

Pre-Dig Validation: Reduce wasted digging by confirming signal strength and orientation before breaking ground. Aligns well with other tools like pulse induction or ground imaging systems.

The MWF Vigor is a professional-grade long-range metal detector engineered for serious treasure hunters, field operators, and survey teams looking to identify buried targets across wide terrain. Developed by MWF Group USA, this device uses specialized frequency detection combined with intelligent directional scanning to lock onto metal targets from distances up to 2,000 meters away — with confirmed depth penetration of up to 40 meters.

Unlike conventional detectors that require sweeping directly over a target, the Vigor enables wide-area surveillance with front-facing target alignment and automatic ground balancing — allowing the operator to pinpoint precious metals like gold, silver, copper, or even underground cavities and tunnels. Its multi-language, high-contrast TFT screen displays real-time direction, signal strength, and distance readings, making it ideal for open terrain and cross-slope detection tasks.

Whether you're prospecting on historic land, scouting a new search zone, or validating a potential dig site, the Vigor delivers clarity and range that traditional VLF or PI systems simply can’t match. The included long-range antenna and signal filter help reduce noise in high-interference areas, giving you clean directional feedback without false signals. Its compact, travel-ready design and powerful rechargeable battery make it suitable for long hours in the field without gear fatigue or signal drop-off.

💬 Why Customers Love This

True long-range performance with up to 2,000m reach and direction targeting

Accurately detects large targets and voids up to 40 meters underground

Built for real-world environments — durable, compact, and field-ready

Intuitive, multilingual interface with smart signal filtering

Perfect for serious prospectors, exploration teams, and landowners

🧭 Explorer Tip

To improve accuracy, always use the Vigor’s long-range antenna system in a stable position — ideally from elevated or cleared terrain. After locking onto a target direction, mark the signal path and walk perpendicular to it to confirm intersection. Real targets will intersect at a tight zone; false signals often won’t. Also, allow the system 30–60 seconds to ground balance before your first scan — this stabilizes the return and cuts down noise.

🧭 Field Report

Location: Southeastern Nevada — high plateau with mixed rock and dry brush

Conditions: 35°C (95°F), arid, occasional wind gusts, medium iron mineralization

Objective: Long-range test scan for buried relics and large non-ferrous targets across open land

We deployed the Vigor on a 100-acre ranch site with limited foot access and high mineral soil. After letting the system stabilize and ground balance, we ran a slow sweep with the long-range antenna extended and the Smart Mode activated. Within 15 minutes, we picked up a consistent directional signal with strong return on the copper setting.

We triangulated by moving 50 meters perpendicular to the original scan line and repeated the process. The target remained stable — signal arc narrowed. After marking the intersection, a localized scan using a separate PI detector confirmed the presence of a large non-ferrous object about 3.2 meters down.

The signal stayed consistent despite minor wind, and the display stayed readable in full sun. Battery life remained above 60% after 6 hours of scanning and idle time. Team noted the unit stayed cool and stable in the heat, and the directional lock proved extremely helpful in narrowing the field quickly without wasting movement.

Conclusion: The MWF Vigor proved its long-range detection claims under field stress. Ideal for surveying open terrain when conventional VLF or PI sweep coverage would be too slow or inefficient. Confidently recommend it for directional surveys and rural scouting operations.

Detected target across canyon

We used it for an experiment across a canyon line — it actually gave directional reading we could validate. Pretty cool.

Signal drift in rocky ground

Worked fine in soft ground but I noticed occasional signal drift in rocky mineral-rich zones. A bit of tuning helped.

Great, but needed tweaking

Strong build, but I wish the default sensitivity had more pre-set options. Still very capable though.
