At Explorer Equip, we want you to shop with confidence. While we do not offer traditional refunds, we provide store credit with an extended return window of 60 days, plus a $50 bonus credit to ensure you get the right equipment for your adventures.
Return Eligibility
You can return your item within 60 days of delivery for store credit + $50 extra, provided:
✔ The item is in like-new condition
✔ All original accessories, packaging, and manuals are included
✔ The item has no excessive wear, damage, or modifications
Non-Returnable Items
⨉ Items showing damage, excessive wear, or modification
⨉ Items missing original packaging or accessories
⨉ Items purchased on clearance or marked Final Sale
How Store Credit Works
Once we receive your return, our team will inspect and verify the item within 2-3 business days. After approval, we’ll issue your store credit and $50 Bonus, which will be available for use immediately toward future purchases.
Why the 2-3 Day Processing Time?
This window allows us to complete the quality inspection and ensures you receive the full value of your credit. If you return an item that is not in the condition described above, we will refuse the store credit and send the item back immediately.
** Do not ship any items to our business address without first contacting us. If we are not expecting it, we will refuse the shipment.
How to Start a Return

Contact Us – Email returns@explorerequip.com with your order details. Let us know you would like to make a return. Include 5 or more high-quality images of the item you are returning. If the item has been opened, include a picture of each component that came in the box when you received it, showing its condition. If unopened, send pictures of all sides of the box. The more pictures provided, the faster we can authorize the return.

Get Return Authorization – We’ll review your request and images provided, then provide you with a return address and instructions.

Ship the Item – Follow the provided instructions and ship the item to the return address. Use a trackable shipping method (return shipping is the customer’s responsibility).

Receive Your Store Credit + Bonus – After completing the quality inspection, we’ll issue your store credit (including the original purchase price plus the $50 bonus) toward your next purchase.
Expiration of Store Credit
Store credit issued through returns will expire 1 year from the date of issuance. Be sure to use your credit within this time frame to enjoy the full value!
Using Your Store Credit
Once your return has been processed and store credit has been issued, you can easily view and use your credit for future purchases on Explorer Equip. Here's how:

Log Into Your Account – Visit Customer accounts here, by clicking "Customer Accounts" in the website footer, or clicking the customer avatar icon next to the shopping cart/checkout icon, then log in with a one-time code sent to your email address.

Check Your Store Credit – After logging in, navigate to your account dashboard. You’ll see the current balance of your store credit listed under the "Store Credit" section.

Apply Store Credit at Checkout – When you’re ready to make a purchase, proceed to the checkout page. During the payment process, you’ll see an option to apply your store credit. The available balance will automatically be deducted from the total amount of your order.

Remaining Balance – If your purchase exceeds the available store credit, you can pay the remaining balance using your preferred payment method. If your order is less than the store credit balance, the remaining credit will be available for future purchases.
List of Final Sale Items
We have 12 Detection Devices that are considered a Final Sale Purchase on our online store. These are High Value Devices, the user Generally realizes the inherent Value shortly after receiving their product, within a few days.
