Overview

The Gold Legend is a compact, five-system detector built for serious range and depth. It combines long-range locating with advanced ionic and bionic sensing, plus flexible frequency control and a guided depth estimator. A simple color interface lets you pick a system, set soil and target preferences, and view results clearly. Expect depths up to 40 m and a selectable front range up to 3,000 m (often described as “distance”; functionally it’s a front-range setting).

Detection Systems

1) Long Range System

Generates RF signals across dual front antennas and rotates toward compatible responses, helping you get on a lead fast. Before you start, choose Soil, Target, Distance (0–3,000 m), and Depth (0–40 m). The screen shows a balance indicator (keep it on green) and an animated sweep, along with the selected target. Use it to narrow down large areas, then grid and confirm.

2) Free Mode System

Works like Long Range but adds manual frequency selection so you can match the response to a specific metal. Set frequency precisely, then apply the same soil, distance, and depth options. The display shows your live sweep, balance indicator, and the exact frequency value you selected.

3) Smart Depth System

After you’ve boxed the target using Long Range from four directions (quadrature method), walk out along two different paths until the antennas deflect more than 70° each time. The device uses those movements to estimate depth—a fast, practical way to decide whether to dig now or refine further.

4) Ionic System

Built to read ionic fields associated with long-buried metals and underground voids. Attach the Smart Sensor to the front port; LEDs indicate target character. Two progress bars tell the story at a glance: the top reflects metal signal strength (e.g., gold/iron), the bottom reflects voids such as tunnels or chambers. Readouts are percentage-based and influenced by distance, target size, and site conditions.

5) Bionic System

A directed version of ionic searching. “Teach” the Smart Sensor with a sample (e.g., a gold coin or silver piece), then sweep the area; the device looks for similar signatures. When it locks, the circular indicator turns red and an audio tone confirms the hit.

Professional Testing & Usage Notes

This class of detector is optimized for long-buried targets where soil has changed over time. Results vary with target size, depth, burial age, soil composition, and technique. For realistic trials, test at known or historic sites (with permission), or where documented buried objects exist. Avoid air tests or fresh burials—they don’t represent ionic/long-range behavior—and avoid indoor testing where wiring and rebar can interfere.
