“We ran the Deep Seeker 5 over a 3-acre plot that had long been speculated to hold buried trade artifacts dating back to the Byzantine era. The ground was uneven, with a high iron content and scattered interference from scrap metal left by previous teams. I started with the Long Range Locator system and got several strong readings in a clustered zone about 40 meters apart. After cross-verifying with the Ionic and Magnetic systems, I isolated three promising areas.
The Cavity Detection System confirmed a void approximately 7 meters down. Excavation revealed a small underground room reinforced with stone walls — and inside, fragments of ceramics, old tools, and what appears to be a small coin cache.
